The Getzes drove up from Houston yesterday to escape from Hurricane Ike, which is currently making its way into Texas. We got to enjoy their company this evening as we waited for the storm to make its way out here. We also had a chance to give little miss Clara an early birthday present, as you can see in the slideshow below.

I love the pictures--and Clara loves her presents, as you already know. And the more I hear about the state of things in Houston, the more glad I am that we came up here and get to spend time with you two!
